DescriptionA woman and four children in a dirt farmyard, standing beside / in / sitting on top of a wagon. Painted on the wagon: ""DIXIE DAIRY Phone 5002 C.C. BURGESS NONE BETTER"". Holograph note on paper in photo sleeve: ""At the Dairy. The Dixie Dairy was founded shortly after the turn of the century by Charles C. Burgess. The dairy was near the Croft-Stone house on Summit Drive. Photo-graphed here are Mrs. C.C. Burgess and her children Cordelia (with the broom), C. Robert (on the wagon), William C. (in the wagon doorway), and Lillian Burgess. From Oscar Landing Collection.
