Four men stand near back of store. Type-written label on photo sleeve reads: ""Sullivan-Markley Hardware. Located at 125 North Main Street, this store extended back to another entrance at 15 West North Street. Teh [sic] Sullivan Company began in 1885 with a store in Anderson. In 1913 Sullivan bought out the Markley Hardware and Manufacturing Company and developed a wholesale-retail hardware business.
