| Description | A large brick building with many windows. Textile Hall was built in 1917 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It has since been demolished. Printed on verso: 'Greenville, S. C., 'Textile Center of the South, ' is a notable manufacturing, agricultural, and educational center. Having 3 million people within 100 miles, it leads the state in commerce. Mild climate and accessibility to mountain or sea make it extremely pleasing to residents and tourists.' |
